Storm Damage Repair — South Dunedin

A severe southerly storm lifted several sheets on this South Dunedin bungalow and damaged the chimney flashing. Water was getting in and the homeowner needed urgent help.

We responded same-day, tarped the exposed areas to stop further water ingress, then returned the following morning for a full repair. Three sheets were replaced with matching steel, and the chimney was completely reflashed with new lead work.

We also identified that the original fixings were undersized for the wind zone — a common issue in South Dunedin. All fixings were upgraded to prevent future lift.
