About This Service

A roof is only as good as its spouting system. If water isn't collected and directed away from your house efficiently, it ends up where you don't want it — behind cladding, under foundations, or pooling against exterior walls. In Dunedin's wet climate, good spouting isn't optional.

We install Colorsteel continuous spouting in a range of profiles and colours to match your roof. Continuous spouting is roll-formed on site to the exact length needed, which means fewer joins and fewer potential leak points compared to pre-cut sections.

Downpipes are sized and positioned to handle the water volume from your roof area, and we connect them to your stormwater system or soakpit. We can also install leaf guards and gutter protection systems for properties surrounded by trees.

For existing spouting that's leaking, sagging, or overflowing, we'll assess whether it can be repaired or whether replacement is the better option. Common problems include worn seals at joins, brackets pulling away from fascia, incorrect fall preventing water flow, and undersized spouting that can't handle heavy rainfall.
